Our purpose
We publish practical information that helps readers understand a topic or complete a task. Each article should have a clear audience, a useful structure and a reason to exist beyond attracting search traffic.
Research and sourcing
Writers and editors should prefer primary sources, official documentation, recognised institutions and direct evidence. Secondary sources may provide context, but a repeated claim is not automatically a verified claim. We avoid fabricated quotations, invented statistics and unsupported superlatives.
Accuracy and review
Before publication, content is checked for internal consistency, obvious factual errors, misleading headings, unsafe instructions and irrelevant links. High-impact health, financial and legal statements require particular care and should direct readers to an appropriately qualified professional when personal advice is needed.
Artificial intelligence
Automation may assist with research organisation or language editing, but it does not replace editorial judgement. Material must be checked for accuracy, originality, relevance and appropriate sourcing before it is published.
Corrections
When credible evidence shows a material error, we correct the article. Minor spelling or formatting changes may be made without a note. A substantial correction may include an explanatory note where that context is useful to readers.
Commercial relationships and links
Payment, free products or outreach must not guarantee favourable coverage. Commercial relationships should be disclosed where relevant. We remove links and articles that are deceptive, unsafe, plagiarised or primarily intended to manipulate search rankings.
Authorship
Articles are attributed to the Letspostit Editorial Team when they are collectively researched or maintained. We do not create fictional biographies or claim expertise that cannot be substantiated.
